Warning: IBU !! πŸ˜‰ irudhayam balaveenama irukkiravanga padikka vaendaam !! πŸ˜€

Aprom,…Β  unga ishtam ! πŸ˜‰

Last week , during our tea time , one of my colleagues from pakkaththu team was sharing his interview experiences , the entire story how he got into the company. Then he was asking about my AD interview experience ,

” neenga AD’le project panneengalle , avanga epdi eduththaanga , interview’laam irundhuchcha ? ille ‘thambi ungala paaththa vaela seiyra maadhiri irukku , vaangannu kootteettu poaitaangalaa’ ? πŸ™‚ ”

“interview vechchudhaanga eduththaanga , first oru written test 12 questions 90 mins irundhuchchu , aprom interview mostly andha answers’ae explain panna sonnaanga , aprom rendu moonu apti kaettaanga”

“oh, enna maadhiri questions ellaam kaettaanga ”

“mostly digital design”

“flipflop ellaam kaettaangala ?”

“aamaanga max frequency , setup , hold time , converting D flipflop to T flipflop , intha maadhiri concepts twist vechchu kaetrunthaanga ”

“oh, idhellaam UG level’lyae kaekkuraangala . neenga ithellaam purinjudhaane padichcheenga , ille ithu ipdi poatta apdi varumnu padichcheengala ?”

“he he .. purinju thaanga padichchaen ” (mind voice : “aagaa , oru PSG tech student’a paaththu ipdi oru kaelviyaa , kaligaalanda “)

This incident reminded me that this was not the first time I had such experience , there are 3 other similar incidents that happened during first year(to be precise, first month) in college.

Place: PSG tech J block first floor some room , last bench πŸ˜‰

Class: Engineering Mathematics I

(The PSG tech campus was more familiar to me than anyone else in the class , since I had taken the entrance coaching classes there during that summer and few Maths professors knew me very well , by name and face even before I got into the college for BE. But the one who came for MathsΒ  I did not know me.)

I was at the last bench with Vinodh (we are from the same school)Β  and Srini ( we had met during counseling in GCT ) and few others .Β  As usual , we were passing few comments and were laughing . Our master came straight to us and told me ” from next class onwards you have to sit in the first bench during maths classes ” . I was wondering , how and why did he pick me alone from our group.

The next day , I was sitting in my usual place, thinking that he would have forgotten about it or he would not care so much about it, but unfortunately he had a good memory and he again invited me to the first bench and I had no other option. He continued with his lecture and finally he announced a seminar topic and looked for volunteers . As usual , none volunteered and he had to pick one student himself . He called “Arun” in his own well known base voice. I stood up slowly wondering “why me everytime ?! “. But he too gave me a puzzled look , with a question mark in his expression which was like “neeya ?!” (then I realised that he used to call people only by their roll numbers and he does not know people by their names initially) and after few seconds he overcame that initial reaction of his, and said “You will be presenting a seminar on ‘sequence and series’ next week ” . Even after the class, I was still wondering of how he picked my name and what was the reason for that peculiar expression. Vinodh helped me with some logic , ” De, andha Maths professors solleruppaanga , ithu maadhiri, namma kitta entrance padichcha payyan oruththan state rank vaangi paperliyellaam vandhaan , andha payyan unga class’le thaan irukkaannu ” . The next week after I took the seminar, I found his logic right , when sir came to me and asked me

” So you got state rank in Entrance ? ”

“Yes sir, 6th”

“6th or 7th ?”

“7th in Entrance and 6th in Cut-off”

“so 7th right , and nee nalla padikkire ,ellaa ok , but romba vaal’a irukkiye πŸ™‚ , unakku intha campus konja munnaadiyae theriyum adhaanaale , ille ? class’le konja amaidhya iru ”

“ok , sir. sorry πŸ™‚ ”

“sit”

Place: PSG tech J block first floor some room , last bench πŸ˜‰

Class: This time, Physics

same location , same group , same situation . But this time, the physics HOD did not come to us the first time . First time we laughed , we saw he had spotted us and we controlled ourselves and acted innocent. We did the samething second time and he came straight to us and picked me (this time also it was me 😦 πŸ™‚Β  ) and said

” Enna sirippu ? .. enna Management quota’va ? ” (Vinodh was actually about to ROFL , but he controlled himself well , while I was still awestruck.. )

” no sir , Government quota ”

”Β  Adhaan ipdiya ?! ukkaaruΒ  ”

Then later after the class , we all started LOL’ing on the incident .

———————————————————————————————————————————-

It was the New year day this year, i.e, Jan 1 ,Β  myself , my cousin and one of his friend went to Cheran Towers for buying my cousin a new dress for his birthday .We found a unique shop, the guy in that shop was different as well and he had some good collections . He spoke very well and he had a good sense of humour .Β  “poattu azhagummattum vaenaalum paaththuttu poaikko , aproma vandhu edutheena poadhum” , ” inga trial room’laam ille , apdi oarama andha table’ku pinnaadi ninnu maaththikko ,camera vaenaa off paneerraen ” , “neenga Upbeat’laam poaneenganna English paattu poattu mandaya kazhuvi panaththa pudingeeruvaanuga, inga apdyille , only old songs ”Β  , “ithaan yen number , missed call mattum vidunga , call panna enakku pidikkaadhu” were some of his dialogues.

He looked at my cousin top to down and said “namakku padippu avlova varaathu..Β  apdithaane? ”

“aamaangna πŸ˜€ ”

“Dressing’e paaththaavae theriyudhu πŸ˜› ” ( We both dress similarly , infact we have common dresses , so i thought he would say the same to me . )

Then the guy looked at me and said , ” ivaru parambara kudigaarar poala ? ”

“illeengna , naeththu night thoongule , kaalailyum konja naeramthaan thoonginaen adhaan”

my cousin said , ” naa avan romba nalla payyan , Chennai’le engineer’a irukkaan ”

then he changed his stance immediately and said , ” paaththaave theriyudhu , simple’a irukkaaru”

our mind voice ” ada paavi , nalla bit poadra da , rendu paerum oraey maadhiri thaane da dress panneerukkoam πŸ˜› ,Β Β  semaya mandaya kazhuvure da “
